This article investigates the impact of manufacturing technology on structure, mechanical, and tribological properties new antifriction composite materials based R6M5 high-speed tool steel grinding waste. The characteristics composite’s structure formation its after use established technological modes, including waste regeneration, were illustrated. It was demonstrated that such is capable ensuring microheterogeneous structure. material’s consists metal matrix uniformly distributed CaF2 solid lubricant in matrix. As compared to known iron-based composites, this promotes a high degree mechanical properties. During tests, anti-seize thin films 15–20 μm are formed contacting surfaces. These constantly renewable contribute under studied friction conditions provide self-lubricating effect. Such fully cover both surface counterface. results self-lubrication mode. findings study open up possibility predicting behavior at temperatures by selecting initial ensure appropriate level extensive various alloy steel-based industrial re-production cycle would significantly resolving global environmental problem protecting environment from pollution.
